[He hesitates to go further, pondering the possible motives here, and at first his instinct is to be secretive. Darth Vader wouldn't exactly want him to go around spilling potential secrets, would he?
Darth Vader isn't here, and he stabbed you through with a lightsaber. He doesn't matter.
It's with that thought he decides it won't do any harm to talk about it.]
I feel as if there's so much, yet so little to say given how irrelevant they are. I don't expect the answer to be yes, but have you heard of the Jedi?
Until their downfall, the Jedi ruled over much of the galaxy. They saw themselves superior, sticking their noses where they didn't belong. They lived by a strict set of codes, allegedly detached from their emotions and attachments, and touted their views as superior. If you weren't with them, you were against them.
They were the opposite of the Sith in every way possible. We aren't afraid to seek power, our passion gives us strength, and our power leads us to victory. Naturally, the Jedi disagree.
My Master helped set in motion their destruction so that the most powerful Sith could take over; Darth Sidious. The Emperor.
And then my Master found me, saw that I had more power than he'd ever witnessed, and trained me to finish off the remaining Jedi that had fled to the farthest recesses of the galaxy. If any remain, it's only the most elusive that have avoided my blade so far.
[ Emperors and Darth-whatever and galaxies... he has no idea what the fuck that all means, but Dabi knows the struggle against people who believe themselves to be superior, following codes and then hiding all their nasty bullshit behind it all. ]
Not so different from the Hero Society in my world. We're still working on breaking that bullshit apart.
It isn't easy to stamp out, they lurk where you least expect. I've gone to trash planets and corrupted jungles, yet they hide and adapt in the name of their beliefs when it would be easier to submit.
None that I've met, no. My Master, in particular, should hope he never graces this world with his presence, however, because I would strike him down where he stands.
[ 'Master' reminds him of Shigaraki talking about AFO. Seems there always has to be some all-powerful asshole in the shadows when you deal with bullshit like this. ]
Unless he shows up here and explains himself, I'll never know. We were poised to execute our final mission, and before I knew it I was feeling the burn of his blade through my back.
I did everything he asked. Always. And that's how he repaid me. I will make him suffer for it.
[This isn't something he would ordinarily talk about so openly, but there's a part of him that needs to get this off his chest. He's felt so angry and frustrated over the betrayal, talking about it is... well, not really cathartic, but affirming his intent to kill Vader, out loud, is motivating. This is the kind of talk that would get him executed, and a part of Starkiller is reveling in it.]
[ It's a kind of betrayal that he doesn't know much about, but he does know the feeling of not understanding why he's been cast aside. Sure, he was still a kid back then, but the feelings aren't less real. ]
Sounds like a piece of shit. Maybe you'll get twice the chance to get him back for it if he comes here. Death doesn't quite work the same, or so I heard.
Well it sounds like this place has perks I wasn't aware of. Good, he can suffer more for it.
I find myself curious now, what about the heroes where you come from? I know enough from what you've said that they sound about as self-righteous and hypocritical as the Jedi, but not much more than that.
[ He might now have fully confirmed it yet, but he's heard it enough times. ]
Most people in my world have some kind of superpower. When it first started to show up, things were chaotic until so-called heroes started to bring orders to things. It's a fucking corrupted system, though. Heroes become celebrities and their popularity is more important than helping anyone. They can hide all kinds of sins behind their polished surfaces.

[ You never know with usernames, but 'eclipse' was pretty damn easy. ]
un; eclipse
[Straight and to the point.
There are only a few people he thinks this could be, given that he hasn't exactly talked to many who mentioned they might contact him.]
Who is this?

[ Not that it was the most important of that discussion. ]
I want to know more about the heroes of your world.

[ So much and so little, is it? ]
That's not familiar, no.

Any other ones from your world, here?

Not very pleased with your teacher, I assume.

It's fragile, though, and I'm bringing it down.
